A very flattering email we received recently…

I was first introduced to the Northern Pikes around ’92 by a roommate  and
really took to “Snow In June”.  I had heard of your name and your introduction
onto the pop scene during my youth but because my focus was on another genre, I
didn’t take notice.  In the past few years, I’ve done quite a bit of file
sharing and took it upon myself to collect Northern Pikes tracks, not
considering the proper honour and recompense wasn’t being done.  That being
said, I have viewed your career and recognise you as one of the archetypal
bands of Canadian pop, right up there with Gordon Lightfoot .  I really
appreciate the ability to rock my soul and some imagery and feeling of lyrics.
In record of my admiration, I give you a copy of my much used play
list “A’sNortherPikes”:
